Come craft JPride DIY Shabbat Kits at the Tucson J on Thursday, May 23 from 6:30-8:30pm, as a celebration of pride + artistic expression! Unleash your creativity amongst friends and allies, as you paint wine glasses, tie-dye challah covers, and decorate personalized boxes to hold all your Shabbat essentials! This will be a fun opportunity to explore your artistic side and cultivate connections in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. As we approach Pride month, we can’t think of a better way to honor the richness of diversity than through freedom of expression!

If you or a loved one are seeking to gain more knowledge on the vast, ever-changing world of aging, we encourage you to join us for our Aging + Families Discussion Series, catering to older adults and adult children. In this 4 part series (attendance at all 4 sessions is not required), we will learn + grow together through conversation guided by our in-house expert Linda Travis, Psy. D, whose experience in the health and aging sector spans over three decades through clinician, scholar, and educator roles.

Linda will help you to navigate the commonly held and unknown struggles surrounding the aging process, and address inquiries specific to your personal journey. Join her in the Multipurpose Room on the 2nd floor, easily accessible from the main J entrance, and delve into discussions that blend clinical expertise with personal insight. Work through the joys and challenges of aging while also focusing on connection and holistic well-being. For members and non-members, this will be an opportunity to build relationships and learn something new in a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone belongs at the J—come discover the keys to navigating the journey of aging together!
