Sasha Cooke has taught squash for over three decades. He has been an assistant coach at Yale, head coach at Trinity College, Wesleyan University, and St Lawrence University. He has taught lessons and junior clinics at the New Haven Lawn Club, the Piping Rock Club, and the Union Club in NYC. In the 1980’s he was ranked among the top 10 U.S. professional players. Many of his junior players have gone on to play successfully at the college level and many of his top college players he introduced to the game. He believes in a few simple techniques, a clear picture of the game and high energy!

Squash is a racquet sport played by two or four players in a four-walled court with a small, hollow rubber ball. Along with its health benefits, squash has the ability to be played year-round and by players of any skill level – making it a sport for everyone to love!

The Tucson J has two squash courts available by walk-in or reservation. We also offer lessons:

Lessons

1 hour: $58
1⁄2 hour: $35
Series of six 1-hour lessons: $290
