Setting Our Minds to the New Year with Dara Horn

September 10 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Setting Our Minds Toward the New Year | Sunday, September 10 at 6:30pm

What does it mean to be part of a global people who seek to actively remember the past, who use ancient text to give meaning to our lives today, and who endeavor to ensure a strong future? In spite of ignorance and indifference to antisemitism, how can we proudly live meaningful, Jewish lives? How might our Judaism shape who we are and who we want to be in the New Year? You’re invited to be part of a timeless and timely kick-off to the 2023-2024 arts and culture season at the Tucson J: Join us Sunday, September 10 for Dara Horn, author of People Love Dead Jews, in conversation with Jennifer Selco, Tucson J Senior Director of Jewish Living and Engagement, about how we find meaning in Jewish history and tradition to live rich and fulfilling Jewish lives in the year ahead.
