The Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild, Celebrating Five Decades of Fiber Arts and Friendship:
The Second Sunday of each month, August – April, serves as an opening for each show in our 2022-2023 Fine Art Gallery Season. This is a time to stop by the gallery and peruse the art, chat with the artist or listen in on an artist talk, enjoy a refreshment and be in the company of other art appreciators in our community. Second Sundays events are FREE and open to the public on the following dates from 2-3:30pm in the J’s Fine Art Gallery.
In celebration of their 50th Anniversary, the Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild, is showing five decades of members’ work, including weaving, spinning, knitting, felting, basketry, braiding, beading, and wearable art. The Guild will present a Marketplace February 11-12 with members’ work for sale and fiber art demonstrations in the lobby.
