Raíces de la Comunidad: This exhibition was curated in partnership with the artist collective Raíces Taller 222 Art Gallery & Workshop. For twenty seven years, Raíces Taller 222 Art Gallery & Workshop has brought together very diverse people from our community to help create a better understanding of our community’s cultures and customs through the arts. The artists in this exhibition come from many different backgrounds, but all are rooted here in southern Arizona. Indigenous, Latino, African American artists, and others – all of them have come together to create this truly unique and amazing exhibit. This exhibit includes paintings, drawings, mixed media and more!
