MONTHLY MITZVAH: Listen. Learn. Reflect. Be in Community.
Each spring, Jewish people around the globe commemorate two contemporary days of mourning. On Yom HaShoah we remember the six million Jews who were murdered during the Shoah (Hebrew for “Holocaust), and Yom HaZikaron, we remember Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror.
The Monthly Mitzvah for April is to practice the value of Hineni (Hebrew for “I am present.”). We invite you to attend one or both of the commemorative ceremonies taking place at the Tucson J. Come listen, learn, reflect and be in community as we honor our collective history and resilience.
