Ladino Culture from Yesterday to Today: A Musical Journey with Sarah Aroeste | Sunday, November 12 at 6:30pm
Join Sarah Aroeste, international Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) singer/songwriter, author and activist, as she brings you along on a musical journey highlighting the Sephardic experience from past to present. Enjoy an interactive, mixed-media program that integrates history, storytelling and music from this rich tradition that has survived shifting centuries and borders to still inspire us today. This Making Music Happen Community Grant Initiative is made possible by a generous grant from the Pertzik Fund for Arts and Culture at JCC Association of North America.
If you believe having accommodations would benefit your opportunity to equitably participate in this program, please contact the Olivia Diaz at odiaz@tucsonjcc.org to advocate for modifications. We will do our best to ensure our program is accessible to you.
The signature arts and culture series is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Patron of the Arts Society.
