Introduction to Ballroom Dance

Ballroom dance incorporates basic principles of movement that are applicable to many physical activities. It is also rich in intrinsic physical and mental value and contributes to increased strength and overall health, improved memory, flexibility, agility, balance, cardiovascular benefits, reduced stress, weight loss, and social confidence. This custom program is designed for any level dancer by introducing Smooth and Rhythm Ballroom dances in two week segments including Waltz-Rumba, Tango-Cha Cha, and Foxtrot-Swing. We begin with simple, basic movements and build into more challenging dance steps and technique.
