Exploring color, form, and texture in ceramic arts – Opening Reception | Sun, Dec 8 from 2-3:30 pm

Each month, August-May, there will be an opening reception for each show in our 2024-2025 Fine Art Gallery Season. This is a time to stop by the gallery and peruse the art, chat with the artists or listen in on an artist talk, enjoy a refreshment, and be in the company of other art appreciators in our community. The art reception is FREE and open to the public on Sunday, Dec 8 from 2-3:30 pm.

Group description: Southern Arizona Clay Artists (SACA) is a non-profit organization serving as a cooperative forum and network for clay artists and enthusiasts. SACA offers workshops, events, discussions, groups, shows, and sales. SACA members make a variety of ceramic art from functional pottery to whimsical sculptured figures to mosaics.

Show description: SACA ceramic artists will display art that demonstrates their creativity and use of color, design and texture that push the boundaries of clay. The intent is to show a variety of styles and techniques, so visitors will see the many possibilities of clay when matched with the imagination of the ceramic artist.
