Tennis

Tiny Tots Tennis | Ages 3–4

Wednesdays, 3:15 – 4 pm A new introductory tennis program for our youngest future players! This program incorporates athletic skill development in addition to basic tennis shapes. In this stage of a child’s development, mastery helps set the right course for all future sports training.

Mighty Mites Tennis | Ages 4-6

Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:15-5:15 pm Players are introduced to the fundamentals of tennis through activities designed to build a solid foundation for long–term athletic development. Activities are focused on developing the ABCs (agility, balance and coordination) while forming the skills necessary to serve, rally and score. Use of red foam and felt balls.

Junior Beginners Tennis | Ages 7–13

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:15 – 5:15 pm Designed to help students enjoy this life-long sport by learning the fundamentals.  Each class has a weekly theme reinforced through drills, games and competitions that promote the fun of learning to play the sport.

Teen Tennis | Ages 13–18

Cycle for Good is back! Join Laura Swenson and music with DJ Thoolan for a special 2 hour Spin ride to benefit The J Taglit Program.

Spinning wheels will complement spinning dreidels as the fourth annual Movement-wide stationary bike event called Cycle for Good takes off on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Thanks to staggered start times, many participants in Cycle for Good will ride indoor bikes at the same time in Jewish Community Centers across North America. Each JCC will ride and raise money for a charity of their choice.

Reserve your bike now for 8am, 9am or both for a suggested donation of $18!
