Through music, games, crafts and science, children will learn about Arizona’s environment and history. There will be a project and information sheet every week and a booklet about Arizona at the end of the session.

Science on the Spot
2:15-3 p.m. • 3-5 year olds
Basic science concepts will be explored through hands-on activities like balloon rockets, baking soda and vinegar chemistry, and oobleck. “Wow” demonstrations by Science Center staff will really get kids excited about science!

Children will prepare a different kind of pizza each week. A side dish and dessert will also be prepared. Bagel pizzas, Mexican pizzas and more.

Children will learn to be comfortable with the computer, including using the mouse and keyboard. Other exercises include drawing and coloring.
